If the water level is too low, the silt in
the shaft can quickly dry out and im-
pede the pump when warming up.
Mains Connection
The pump you have purchases is already
fitted with an earthed plug. The equipment
is designed for connection to an earthed
wall socket with a RCD (Residual Current
Device) at 230 V ~ 50Hz.
Connecting the Pressure
Line
The pump is installed
- Either with a fixed pipeline
- Or with a flexible hose line.
1. Screw the quick-connect adapter
(8) onto the pump outlet (6).
2. Press the red release button on
the quick-connect adapter (8)
and slide the angle adapter with
quick-connect connector (9) into
the quick-connect adapter (9).
Let go of the red release button
again.
3. Fit the hose over the reducer (10)
and secure it with a hose clamp.
Or use a screw connection on
the angle adapter with quick-
connect connector (9), or on the
reducer (10).
Outlet with a 1½”-internal thread
on the pump for connection of the
quick-connect adapter (8) or for
direct connection of a hose with a
1½”-external thread;
Outlet with 1½“-external thread at the
bracket adapter (9) for connection
of the reducer (10) or a 1½“-screw
connection;
Outlet on reducer (10) for connection
of a 1¼”- or 1½”-hose as a compres-
sion joint (fixing with a hose clamp);
Outlet with 1“-external thread at the re-
ducer (10) for connection of a 1“-screw
connection;
Outlet with 1“-thread at the reducer (10)
for connection of a 1“-hose as clamp
connection (fixing with a hose clamp).
Note that the particle size may be
max. 18 mm if the reducer
(Outlet with 1“) is used, otherwise
the reducer and hose can become
blocked.
Adjustment of the float
switch
The float switch (
3) is adjusted so that
it can be started up immediately.
In the case of stationary
installation, check regularly (no less
then once every three months) that
the float switch
(
3) is working.
The switch-on/switch-off point of the float
switch (
3) can be set in multiple incre-
ments:
Press the lever (13) on the float
switch height adjustment (2) to-
gether and move it to the desired
position. Release the lever (13). The
float switch height adjustment (2)
locks into place.
Check the float switch (
3).
- It must be positioned so that it
can lift and lower freely. The
switching point heights “On”
and “Off” must be easy to
reach.
