• Do not use any saw blades.
• To clamp the grinding tools
only use the clamping flange
provided. The pads between
the clamping flange and the
grinding tools must be made of
elastic materials e.g., rubber,
soft cardboard etc.
Switch off the tool and remove the
battery before you service the tool.
Wear protective gloves when chan-
ging the cutting/grinding discs in
order to avoid injuries from cuts.
The clamping screw (
3) must
not be too tight in order to avoid
breaking the cutting/
grinding disc (
2).
Switching on and off
1. To switch the tool on, push the on/off
switch (5) forwards. The tool turns on
and starts. To engage the tool, push
the on/off switch (5) forwards.
2. To switch the tool off, push the on/off
switch (5) backwards. The tool turns
off.
After switching on the device, wait until the
device has reached its max. speed. Only
then should you start with the work.
The disc still runs even after
the device has been switched
off. Risk of injury.
Trial run:
Always carry out a trial run before carry-
ing out your first grinding procedure and
after every disc replacement. Switch the
device off immediately if the grinding disc
is not rotating smoothly, if considerable
vibration occurs or if you hear abnormal
noises.
Practical tips
Cutting disc:
Never use a scrubbing wheel
for cutting
!
Only certified, fibre-reinforced cutting or
grinding discs may be used.
In general, work with small scrubs. Exert
only moderate pressure on the workpiece.
Always work in the counter-direction. This
ensures that the device is not pushed out of
the cut through lack of control.
Separation of stone materials:
• It is best to use a diamond blade to cut
stone materials. In any case, pay atten-
tion to the suitability and labeling of the
cutting disc for your application.
• When separating stone materials, ensu-
re adequate dust extraction.
• Wear a dust mask.
• The device may only be used for dry
cutting / dry grinding.
Notes on statics:
Slots in load-bearing walls are subject to
the standard DIN 1053 Part 1 or country-
specific specifications. These rules must be
strictly adhered to. Before starting work,
consult the responsible structural engineer,
architect or the responsible construction
management.
