Do not turn on the device while it is still in
the workpiece. Allow the cutting disk to
reach top speed before carefully inserting
it into the cut.
Otherwise the disk may pinch,
bounce out of the workpiece or kickback.

Prop up the workpiece to minimize the
risk of kickback due to a pinched cutting
disk
. Large workpieces may sag under their own
weight. The workpiece should be propped up on
both sides of the cut both at the outer edges and
near the cutting disk.

Exercise extreme caution when blind
cutting into walls or other out-of-sight
areas.
The cutting disk may kickback when cutting
gas or water lines, power lines or other hidden
objects.
Changing the protective cover
WARNING!
Always remove the battery pack from the product
before adjusting or changing the protective cover to
prevent the power tool from starting unintentionally.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!
Wear protective gloves. Exercise caution when
handling the protective cover as there is a pinching
hazard between the protective cover and disk.
1. It may be necessary to first remove the attachment
before changing the protective cover. Also remove
the backing flange

2. Loosen the 3 screws from the cover until you can
remove the protective cover. It is not necessary to
remove the screws.
3. Insert a new protective cover. Make sure the cover
engages in the recesses on the protective cover.
Retighten the 3 screws on the cover and check
whether the protective cover can be adjusted.
