Engine idle cannot be
adjusted using a computer
1. Check to be sure the throttle cable is NOT seized.
2. Check to see if the ECU is damaged.

Unstable of engine idle
speed.
1. Check to see if the battery voltage is lower than the specified value.
2. Check to see if the output voltage of the rectifier when the engine is
idling is lower than the specified value.
3. Check to determine if the EFI has any problems.

Engine backfires
1. Check to see if there are any air leaks in the air filter or air inlet pipe.
2. Check to see if the connection between the exhaust pipe and engine
or the exhaust pipe and muffler has an air leak.
3. Check to be certain the grade of the gasoline is NOT too low.

Engine is hard to start at
lower temperatures.
1. Check to see if the voltage of the battery has gotten lower because of
the lower temperature.
2. If the temperature is below 0º F, move the ATV to a warmer place.
After it warms up it should start.
