Power
The VMM1210 is powered by the vehicle battery. The VMM1210 operates in a
12 V or 24 V system, and can operate from 7 V up to 32 V, with over-voltage
protection at 36 V.
The various pins on the connectors are used for different types of power, as
detailed in the following sections.
5.1. Logic Power
The VMM1210 has one pin, labeled VBATT_LOGIC, dedicated to providing
power for logic circuitry, and three pins, labeled GND, dedicated to grounding the
VMM1210.
5.1.1. Logic Power Capabilities
Logic power provides power to the logic circuit, which consists of the
microprocessor, RAM, etc.

Note 1:
No inputs active, unit set up for no power control inputs, so it is always on when power
is applied. Input voltage 13.8 V.
Note 2:
No inputs active, unit set up for one power control input, so sleep mode can be
activated. All inputs programmed as active low type. Input voltage 13.8 V.
