8.2  Connecting to RS232 

RS232 allows direct connection to the sensor via HyperTerminal on a laptop. The serial settings are: 
 
• 9600 baud 
• 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit 
• No handshaking 
 
Remove the 4 screws on the terminal box inside the LinerSCAN box 

 

 

Connect the correct coloured wires on the adapter lead.
