Cylinder (Sensor) Configuration:
9. Cylinder: Select ‘ALL’ or the individual cylinder which requires alteration. Selecting “ALL” sensors
requires the user to provide a value for each of the parameters listed. All sensors are set to the same
values.
10. Parameters to change:
a. Yellow/Warning Alarm. First stage warning indicator. [Recommend 400ppm]
b. Red Alarm. Second stage alarm indicator. [Recommend 900ppm]
c. Blast Time. Time for air to zero and clear sensor [Recommend 10 seconds]
d. Consecutive Alarm Trigger. Number of consecutive readings above the Alarm ppm threshold
before an alarm is sounded. This can be changed between 3 and 9.
e. Measurement Interval: Time between readings – should be long enough to allow the sensor to
fill [Recommend 5 minutes]
f. Inactivity Period. Each sensor automatically cleans itself using the air 'blast' if no measurement
has been taken during a set hour period - something called the 'inactivity blast'. This can be
changed between 1 and 18. [Recommend 6 hours].
If any parameters are missing, the software will prompt the user to provide them, before allowing the
update to proceed.
Note: the new settings will not display on the main tab until the next measurement is taken.
