Schematic Notes (Fig. 5):

1. This “typical” drawing is conceptual, and is not intended for use

as an installation or design drawing. R/S assumes no
responsibility for any implementation of the details or concepts
reflected by this drawing.

2. Wiring shown in dash-line box integral to ELL-3 Controller. All

other wiring installed in field, to suit application and design.

3. No attempt made herein to isolate control circuits, define location

of enunciators or pilot lights, distinguish between enclosures,
etc. All applicable codes to be observed.

4. CONTROLLER RELAY FUNCTION, DISPOSITION

All relays shown in de-energized (normal) position.  All LED -pilots
on ELL energized when relays are energized.

ELL-R1: Operating liquid level, adjustable differential, can be

set to any liquid level or differential, energized as liquid
level drops to lower level setting, de-energized when
liq

uid level rises to upper level setting.

ELL-R2:

C

an be set to activate at any level from 0 - 100%.

Differential fixed at approximately 4%. Relay energized
as liquid level LOWERS to set point; de-energized on
rise.

ELL-R3: Can be set to activate at any level from 0 - 100%.

Differential fixed at approximately 4%. Relay energized
as liquid level RISES to set-point; de-energized on fall.

ELL-R4: Can be set to activate at any level from 0 - 100%.

Differential fixed at approximately 4%. Relay energized
as liquid level LOWERS to set-point; de-energized on
rise.

ELL-R5: Can be set to activate at any level from 0 - 100%.

Differential fixed at approximately 4%. Relay energized
as liquid level RISES to set-point; de-energized on fall.

5. Alternative applications and logic supported by employing

combinations of ELL relays and additional control relays are
infinite. Transfer systems, intercoolers, chillers, and others will
require their own specific control circuit designs.
