Maintenance intervals
Hazard due to a sudden release of pressure!
Never remove any parts of the filter, or manipulate the same in any way, for as long
as the filter is still pressurised! A sudden escape of pressure may cause serious
injuries.
Before carrying out any work on the filter, first depressurise the filter.

Check the function of the automatic condensate trap
The automatic condensate trap must be checked weekly for leaks and correct function:
Check whether a permanent flow noise can be heard
when the discharge valve (1) is closed, this indicates a
leakage. In this case the condensate trap is possibly
contaminated or defective.
Turn the knurled screw
(ZK03)
on the housing bottom to
the left in order to open the drain valve manually.
If the condensate trap
works correctly, a small amount of condensate or even
just compressed air or inert gas will discharge.
is defective, if an unusual amount of condensate
discharges.
If you are in any doubt with regard to the correct function, you
must shut off the compressed air or gas supply, and
depressurise the filter; then remove the condensate trap,
clean or renew the same. Proceed as described below:
Shut off compressed air or gas supply, open manual drain valve and depressurise filter.
Unscrew filter bowl as
described in the section
Renew the filter element
.
Remove the condensate trap, clean or fit new condensate trap.
