13.2 Functional checking before driving
For your own safety, you must check the following points before begin-
ning any trip.

You may need to involve a second person for such a check.
> Check that the brakes are working.

The brake release lever

must be positioned on "LOCK";
i.e. in its upward position.
> Charge state of your accumulators.
