8304 IDSL Card LEDs
The following table describes the meaning and states of the LEDs on the Hotwire
8304 IDSL card faceplate.

Alarm is present on the 8304 IDSL card. ATM
interface is not being detected.
Normal operation, no alarms.
Test
Yellow, On

Test in progress.
Normal operation, no tests.

Packets are being transmitted. LED blinks on
and off about five times per second.
Inactive.
RX Green,
Blinking
Off
Packets are being received. LED blinks on and
off about five times per second.
Inactive, link down.
LOC

Normal operation.
ATM bus clock is not present.

One of the ports not currently being displayed by
the port status LEDs is either in a Test Mode,
there is a DSL handshake in progress, the DSL
link is down, or there has been a card reset.
All ports not currently displayed by the port
status LEDs are either functioning normally or
are disabled.
