Connecting the COM Port to a User Interface
1. Configure the async or VT100-compatible terminal or PC to be compatible with the
access unit:
— Baud Rate set to 19.2 kbps.
— Character length set to 8 data bits.
— Parity set to none.
— Stop bit set to 1.
— Flow Control set to None.
2. Insert the 8-pin end of the cable into the COM port.
3. Insert the other end of the cable into the user interface (VT100-compatible terminal
emulation) connector.
