ASCII characters are divided into ASCII printable characters and ASCII
non-printable control sequences.
ASCII printable characters include:
Numeric 0–9
Upper or lower case A-Z
< > space
All ASCII symbols except the ^ (caret)
ASCII printable characters are valid entries for the following:
Device Name screen. Refer to the
