Appliance Assembly
Your WD-42 Appliance comes pre-assembled and requires very little setup. Professional installation of your
appliance is required to satisfy your warranty.
The power cord must not be pinched against a sharp edge. Secure
the cord to avoid tripping or snagging. To reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, or personal injury, do not run cord under carpeting, and
do not cover cord with throw rugs or runners. Arrange the cord away
from traffic areas to avoid tripping hazards.
Do not immerse cord or plugs in water or other liquid.
Ensure the island is free of cracks that would allow water or other
liquids to get into the electrical controls.
Keep the warming drawer away from sprinklers.
The warming drawer must be installed by a qualified technician and
properly grounded.
Ensure warming drawer vent ducts are unobstructed.

The appliance must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes,
with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, or the Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1, CSA C22.1.
