Paradigm
Coarse azimuth adjustment is performed by rotating the antenna on the mounting pole, and
tightening the 3 vertically aligned clamping bolts when a satisfactory coarse azimuth is achieved.
For fine azimuth adjustment, slightly loosen off the 4 x M8 nuts (A) located on the underside of
the Az/El Mount Assembly. Loosen off the fine azimuth lock nut (B) and adjust the azimuth by
turning the hex bolt (C) until the desired angle is achieved. After achieving the desired azimuth,
tighten the four base plate nuts and tighten the fine-adjust lock nut. Refer to page 18 to
calculate azimuth angle for pointing the antenna.
Before setting the fine azimuth, ensure that the fine azimuth adjust hex bolt (C) allows equal
amounts of travel in both azimuth directions.
