OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the operating instructions and safety instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.

Remote controlled diffuser strip or air stone with LEDs
Intended use:
With the Magic Bubble LED you create atmospheric
lighting and simultaneously ventilate your aquarium. Can
also be used as moonlight.
The memory function allows the colour
set by remote control to be saved
with a timer even after switching off
(e.g. AquaParts AquariumTimer item
no. 03179)
Scope of delivery:
Strip with diffuser or air stone with LEDs
Control module with IR receiver
Remote control (incl. CR2025 battery)
12 V mains adaptor
100 cm hose (150 cm Art. 03167)
Please note:
For indoor use only! The IR receiver only works within
the remote control range! Use safety valve!
Set up:
1. Connect the power supply to the control module
2. Connect the hose to the air outlet strip or stone and
any pump
3. Fix the LED strip in the desired position in the aquari-
um using the suction cups
4. Switch on the pump – plug in the LED strip
5. Set up the remote control (Remove protective film
from battery)
Remote control functions:
Switch on / switch off
Colour selection:
red – green – blue – white (as well as 12
additional colours)
FLASH:
LEDs flash – colours change automatically
STROBE:
Strobe effect – colours change automatically
FADE: LEDs gently fade in and out in white
SMOOTH: LEDs gently fade and change colour
automatically
Increase brightness, flash and colour changes
Decrease brightness, flash and colour changes

Cleaning and maintenance:
Please make sure you disconnect the mains plug first.
Never open the controller or power supply unit.
Clean with a fibre-free cloth slightly moistened with
water.
After changing the remote control battery, please dispose
of the used battery properly at a collection point. You are
legally obliged to return used batteries as an end user.
Troubleshooting:
If the unit does not work, check the wiring. Is the power
cable connected to the IR controller? Is the mains adaptor
connected to a working socket? Is the remote control
battery dead?
In other cases please contact your dealer
Safety instructions:
The product may only be used in the manner it is
intended for. Any other use may result in damage to the
product, personal injury and voiding the warranty.
Only use the supplied mains adaptor for operation.
Do not open the components or carry out any repairs
yourself. This article including its packaging is not a toy!
Keep it away from children at all costs!
Do not exert any mechanical pressure. Dropping it,
even from a low height, shocks or blows may lead to
damage. Do not use the components again if they have
been damaged.
Never look directly into the light source as this may cause
damage to the eyes. When laying the cables, make sure
that nobody can trip over them. There is a risk of injury!
Operation in schools, training centres, hobby or self-help
workshops etc. must be monitored.
Damage caused by improper use and non-compliance
with these instructions will void the warranty. We
assume no liability for consequential damages resulting
from this.
Warranty notice:
Papillon offers the purchaser that the product has
no material or manufacturing defects for a warranty
period of 24 months. Normal use in accordance with
the intended purpose is assumed. The warranty period
begins with the date of purchase. A purchase receipt
must be presented for warranty claims. The scope of the
warranty extends exclusively to the free repair and in
exceptional cases to the replacement of defective parts.
Incorrect handling, brute force, unauthorised opening of
electronic components, damage caused by water ingress
will void the warranty.
Papillon accepts no liability whatsoever for direct or
indirect damage, loss of use or consequences arising
from the use of the product. Any liability is limited to the
amount paid for the product in any case.
The warranty does not cover:
items without proof of purchase; modified items, items
with defective housing or damage; items with minor
defects or deviations from the product specification that
do not affect the product’s value or function.
