Resolving Resource Conflicts
Note:
The Sprint Mobile Broadband Card installation CD is required to
complete this procedure.
The Sprint Mobile Broadband Card requires these system
resources:

If these resources are notavailable for the card, you have a resource
conflict. If another PC Card is installed, you may be able to free the
resources simply by ejecting the other device. Otherwise, you may
need to disable other devices, such as an internal modem, infrared
device, or network card to resolve the resource conflict. This section
explains how to disable other devices.

To resolve a resource conflict in Windows 2000:

Disable a device (internal modem, infrared device, or
network card).
Disabling an Internal Modem, Infrared Device, or Network Card

Close all Windows programs and open the Control Panel
by selecting
Start > Settings > Control Panel
.

Double-click the
System
icon.

Click the
Hardware
tab.
4.
Click the
Device Manager
button.
