Sprint PCS Vision - Pantech
Settings > Sprint PCS Vision - Pantech
opens a dialog box that
allows you to set the behavior of your Sprint Mobile
Broadband Card.

Select the
Always show Welcome Screens
check box if you
would like to have a welcome screen appear upon a
successful connection to the Sprint PCS Vision network.
䢇
Select the
GO automatically when ready
check box to
automatically connect to the Nationwide Sprint PCS
Network after Sprint PCS Connection Manager starts and
senses a compatible Sprint PCS device.
䢇
Mode
supports three different types of data call modes:
Automatic
,
EVDO Only
, and
1xRTT Only
. When
Automatic
is
selected, the currently available mode is set automatically.
When
EVDO Only
is selected, only the EVDO mode is
provided. When
1xRTT Only
is selected, only the 1xRTT mode
is provided.

Roaming
supports three different roaming options:
Sprint
,
Automatic
, and
Roam Only
. When
Sprint
is selected, roaming
is disabled. When
Automatic
is selected, roaming is
automatically enabled if Sprint service is not available. When
Roam Only
is selected, only roaming is enabled. (When the
Roam Guard
check box is selected, an extra step is required
before the card will enter roaming mode.)

The
Activation Wizard
is used only when activating a new
Sprint PCS device.
䢇
The
User Lock Change
enables you to change and customize
your User Lock Code.
