Replacing a battery
• Carefully read the "Precautions" and proceed accordingly.
• To replace the battery, turn off the power of the microphone, and make sure that the micro-
phone is not connected to the charger.
• The following indicates that either the dry cell is depleted or the rechargeable battery has
run out. In this case, install a new dry cell or charge the rechargeable battery.
• The battery indicator lights red
• The battery indicator does not light
Note:
• Do not touch the battery poles with hands. Otherwise poor contact or noise may result.
If dirty, wipe off with a dry soft cloth.
• Battery power is slightly consumed even when the power of this product is OFF. If the bat-
tery is left unused, that may result in liquid leakage. To prevent this, remove the battery
from the product when unused for a long time.

Turn off the power by pressing the power switch.
Confirm that the battery indicator is off.

Remove the battery cover.
Pull the battery cover in the arrow direction while pressing the

portion with both right and
left thumbs to remove the cover.

Install a new battery.
When removing the used battery, lift out the + side, then the – side.
When installing the battery, check the polarity.
If using a rechargeable battery, install one AA size nickel metal hydride battery, if using a
dry cell, install one AA/LR6 size alkaline dry cell, paying attention to the polarity marks (+,
–) of the battery slot.

Attach the battery cover.
Push up the battery cover, and fit it to its original position.

Confirm that the battery indicator lights.
Press the power switch or power push-button switch, turn on the power of the microphone,
and confirm that the battery indicator lights green or orange.
