When “On” is selected for “MPEG-4 transmission” in “MPEG-4(1)” or “MPEG-4(2)”, displaying of
MPEG-4 images or JPEG images on the “Live” page will be available.

When “On” is selected for “MPEG-4 transmission” in “MPEG-4(1)” and “MPEG-4(2)”, MPEG-4 images
are viewable using other devices with each setting.

When “On” is selected for “MPEG-4 transmission” in “MPEG-4(1)” or “MPEG-4(2)”, the transmission
interval of JPEG images may be longer.
[Internet mode (over HTTP)]
Select “On” when transmitting MPEG-4 images via the Internet. It is possible to transmit MPEG-4 images
without changing the broadband router settings configured for JPEG image transmission.

On:
MPEG-4 images and audio will be transmitted using the HTTP port. Refer to page 169 for further
information about the HTTP port number settings.

Off:
MPEG-4 images and audio will be transmitted using the UDP port.

When “On” is selected, only “Unicast port (AUTO)” will be available for “Transmission type”.
•
When “On” is selected, it may take seconds to start displaying MPEG-4 images.
•
When “On” is selected, MPEG-4 images may not be displayed depending on the number of the
concurrent access users and audio data availability, etc.
•
When “On” is selected, only IPv4 access is available.
[Image capture size]
Select “QVGA” or “VGA” for the image capture size of MPEG-4 images.

Select a transmission priority for MPEG-4 images from the following.
