Step 2 Remove the circuit board
FOR VIEW 4 ONLY
: The circuit board is held in place with heat-staked posts at 7 locations. Scrape or snip
these off to release the board.
Step 3 Disconnect the battery terminals
Cut the battery terminals where shown
with diagonal pliers.
Step 4 Remove the battery from the board
The battery is adhered to the substrate with double-sided tape.
Peel the battery from the board with a wedge-shaped tool.
Step 5 Dispose of the battery properly
Used batteries should be taken to applicable collection points or given to a professional disposal company. They should never be
mixed with general household waste.
