Bracket Mounting
Mounting Position
The features of the
View Tag
product line are designed with human interaction in mind. To maximize ease of use, and
minimize fatigue and/or strain, the following mounting instructions are recommended for standard use:
(shown in Figure 15)

Mount display no higher than 2 meters. this will allow users to easily read

Mount display no further than 1 meter from user, so the user does not have to bend or reach and has
comfortable, unobstructed access to
View Tag
features
➢
View Tags may be mounted vertically in either orientation or facing upward. They should not be mounted facing
downward.
These orientations are acceptable.
This orientation is
NOT
acceptable.
(depending on factors like user’s physical abilities, facility layout, and physical obstructions, some
accommodations may need to be made to utilize all
features. These
circumstances are to be handled at client’s discretion)
Mounting Options
To mount your bracket, there are two options each with its own hardware necessary for implementation:

Screws
•
The bracket features pre-drilled holes to aid in fastening your bracket to the mounting surface
•
Screws are recommended when affixing bracket to a flat, rigid surface
•
The holes are sized to accommodate either of the following industry standard screw sizes

8-32 UNC Socket Head Cap Screw

Torque Spec: 10-12 in-lb
⊳
M4 x 0.7 Socket Head Cap Screw
◆
Torque Spec: 1.13-1.36 N·m
➢
Zip-Ties
•
The bracket features slots on each side of the bracket
•
Zip-Ties are recommended for mounting brackets to uneven or non-flat surfaces
When mounting the View Tag, please observe the following:
•
Avoid installing where there is excessive shock or vibration
•
Check the fixation regularly
•
Do not drop the unit as it may cause malfunction
•
Do not use the system outdoors
•
Be sure to use the product without the specified ambient temperature and humidity as defined
in the previous section
