Manipulating Clips with Thumbnails: Formatting SD memory cards

SD memory cards can also be formatted from the thumbnail
screen. With an SD memory card inserted into the unit,
perform the following operation:

Press the THUMBNAIL button.
The thumbnail screen appears on the LCD monitor.

Press the THUMBNAIL MENU button and select
OPERATION

FORMAT from the thumbnail menu.

The following screen appears. Select “SD CARD”, then
press the SET button.
Select “EXIT” if formatting is not required.

The following screen appears. Use the cursor buttons
and the SET button to select YES.

The SD memory card is formatted.

Note

SD memory cards can also be formatted from the menu
screen. For more information, see [Handling SD memory
cards] (page 92).
