The cassette is ejected immediately after insertion
If DEW CONDENSATION is displayed on screen, wait until
indication has disappeared
Normal recording mode cannot be started
No tape is inserted, recording is already in progress
Tape is ejected when attempting to record or when TIMER REC
is pressed
The tape has had its erasure prevention tab removed.
Use a cassette with the erasure prevention tab intact
Timer recording mode cannot be activated
Current date and time have not been set.
Start end times have not been set correctly.
TIMER REC has already been pressed.
Poor picture quality during playback
Tape has been used many times or is damaged.
Tracking has been adjusted incorrectly. Adjust tracking.
Video heads are dirty. Use a video head cleaning tape.
Tape counter does not advance during playback.
An unrecorded section of tape is being played back.

TV Games / Home Computers
ExtendeduseofTVgamesorhomecomputerswithanytelevision
set can cause a permanent ‘shadow’ on the screen. This type of
irreversible picture tube damage, can be limited by observing the
following points:

Reduce the brightness and contrast levels to a minimum
viewing level.

Do not operate the TV---Video for a continuous period of
time while using TV games or home computers.

This type of picture tube damage, is not an operating
defect, and as such is not covered by the Panasonic
warranty.

Sleep Feature
If the set is not switched off when the TV station stops
transmitting , it will automatically go to standby mode after 30
minutes. This function will not operate when the TV---Video is in
AV mode.

Last Position Memory
Certain functions have a last position memory, i.e. the setting at
the time of switch---off willbe the setting used when the receiveris
switched on again:---
Contrast

Colour

Timer programme data
