This unit has two tuners, allowing you to watch one programme while recording another.

There are several different ways to make a recording, including automatic timer recordings

Insert a video cassette with an

intact erasure prevention tab

Press the two remote control

record buttons simultaneously

(or the front panel REC button)

The current programme position

that you are watching will be

recorded

To stop recording press the Stop

button

Insert a video cassette with an

intact erasure prevention tab

Press the OTR button twice

The current programme position

that you are watching will be

recorded for 15 minutes

To extend the recording time, press

the OTR button repeatedly while

the on---screen display is visible.

Each press will increase the

recording time by 15 minutes.

OTR starts 6 seconds after the

duration is set.

To confirm the time remaining

during OTR recording, press the

OTR button once.

To stop OTR recording press the

Stop button

Notes:

The TV---Video’s two---tuner system allows you to watch one programme position while recording another. During recording, just

press the numeric keys

buttons. The recording you have started (or imminent Timer recordings) will not be

interrupted. Press the

MONITOR

button to return to the programme being recorded (see page 26).

If no tape is inserted, the on---screen TAPE ERROR indicator will be displayed (see page 27).

If the tape does not have an intact erasure prevention tab, it will be ejected automatically when you attempt to record.

The internal VCR cannot record NTSC signals.
