PC Cards
Removing a PC Card
Do not remove a PC Card while your computer is in the standby or hiber-
nation mode.
When two PC Cards are inserted, perform the following procedure (from
Step
to Step
) for each of the two cards.
Note that shutdown may not end properly depending on the status of a
PC Card or a device connected to the PC Card, such as when a SCSI
card is used to connect a hard disk. In such cases, turn off the power
through the [Start]* menu, then remove the card.
Windows XP

Windows 2000
Double-click
on the taskbar, select the PC Card, then select [Stop].
Follow the on-screen instructions.
(When the PC Card has been removed after the computer is turned off,
this step is not necessary.)
Windows XP
Double-click
on the taskbar, select the PC Card, then select [Stop].
Follow the on-screen instructions.
(When the PC Card has been removed after the computer is turned off,
this step is not necessary.)
Press the button out, then press the button again.
Slide the PC Card out.
Button
