Alarm Transmission Options

Yellow Alarm Send
Description
Determines whether the DBS sends a yellow alarm signal to the
CO.

Slave cabinet: FF1 9# 4# 5# 1# 7# (0-1)#

Parameter
Red Alarm Detection
Description
The default value for this parameter is determined by network
specifications. It should
not
be changed.
If a red alarm occurs, the “CFA” LED on the ISDN card lights.
Also, if the “Red Alm Relay” parameter (page 4-25) is turned on,
the alarm relay on the ISDN MDF card closes.
Note:
For changes to this parameter to take effect, the system
must be powered down, then back up again.
