Troubleshooting guide
Before requesting service, make the checks below. If you are not sure about some of the check points,
or if the solutions below were not a solution to the problem, consult your dealer for instructions.

No power. • Connect the AC mains lead correctly. 9
The system
automatically switches off. • The system is switched off by the sleep timer or the auto off

Main unit displays
Page
"STOP" or " ERR DISC" • You put in a disc that the system cannot play. Change to a
playable disc.
• You put in a blank disc or a disc that has not been
fi nalized.

"NO DISC" • You have not put in a disc.
• You have not put in the disc correctly. Put it in correctly. 12

"STOP" • USB mass storage device does not have fi les. 23
“ERROR” • An incorrect operation was done. Read the instructions and try again. -
“REMOTE 1” or “REMOTE 2” • The remote control and main unit are in different modes. Change the
remote control mode to make it the same as the main unit mode.

General operation

The system does not
respond. • The system cannot operate correctly because of lightning, static
electricity or some other external causes. Disconnect the AC
mains lead, and then connect it again.
• There is condensation. Let the system dry for 1 to 2 hours. 9

No operations can be done
with the remote control. • Point the remote control at the signal sensor on the main unit to
operate.
• Examine that the batteries are installed correctly.
• The batteries are weak. Replace them with new ones. 8

Disc operation

Playback does not start. • If a disc contains CD-DA and other formats, correct playback is
not possible.
• If playing DivX VOD content, refer to the website where
you purchased it. (Example: http://vod.divx.com) -

Playback control menu
does not show. Use the disc with playback control (PBC).
• Press the DISC MENU button.

No subtitles. • It is possible that the subtitles are not shown because of the disc. 17
Cannot select alternative
languages. • Select from the menu of the disc if one is available. -
The SYSTEM menu cannot
be accessed. • Select “DVD/CD” or "USB" as the source. 10
Playback starts
