Chapter 4

Settings — [SECURITY] menu

ENGLISH - 175

The following items can be selected only when [SLOT BUTTON] is selected in [INPUT SELECT BUTTON].

The items from [SDI1 [SLOT]] to [SDI4 [SLOT]] can be selected when the optional Interface Board for

12G-SDI (Model No.: ET-MDN12G10) is installed in the slot.

[HDMI1 [SLOT]] and [HDMI2 [SLOT]] can be selected when the optional Interface Board for HDMI 2 input

(Model No.: ET-MDNHM10) is installed in the slot.

[DVI-D1 [SLOT]] and [DVI-D2 [SLOT]] can be selected when the optional Interface Board for DVI-D 2

input (Model No.: ET-MDNDV10) is installed in the slot.

[DisplayPort1 [SLOT]] and [DisplayPort2 [SLOT]] can be selected when the optional Interface Board for

DisplayPort 2 input (Model No.: ET-MDNDP10) is installed in the slot.

[TOGGLE]

Switches the input of the Interface Board installed in the slot in turn when the button is operated.

[SDI1 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the SDI1 input of the Interface Board.

[SDI2 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the SDI2 input of the Interface Board.

[SDI3 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the SDI3 input of the Interface Board.

[SDI4 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the SDI4 input of the Interface Board.

[HDMI1 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the HDMI1 input of the Interface Board.

[HDMI2 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the HDMI2 input of the Interface Board.

[DVI-D1 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the DVI-D1 input of the Interface Board.

[DVI-D2 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the DVI-D2 input of the Interface Board.

[DisplayPort1 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the DisplayPort1 input of the Interface Board.

[DisplayPort2 [SLOT]]

Fixes to selection operation of the DisplayPort2 input of the Interface Board.

[DISABLE]

Disables button operations.

When [INPUT SELECT BUTTON] is selected in Step

, once the switching of the item is completed, press

the <MENU> button. The screen returns to the

[CONTROL PANEL]

screen or the

[REMOTE CONTROL]

screen.

9) Press

to select [APPLY], and press the <ENTER> button.

The confirmation screen is displayed.

10) Press

to select [OK], and press the <ENTER> button.

Note

When a button operation is performed on the device set to [DISABLE], the

[CONTROL DEVICE PASSWORD]

screen is displayed.

Enter the control device password.

The

[CONTROL DEVICE PASSWORD]

screen will disappear when there is no operation for approx. 10 seconds.

If the operations of both [CONTROL PANEL] and [REMOTE CONTROL] are set to [DISABLE], the projector cannot be turned off (cannot

enter standby).

When the setting has completed, the menu screen will disappear. To operate continuously, press the <MENU> button to display the main

menu.

Even when button operations on the remote control are disabled, the operation of the <ID SET> button on the remote control is enabled.

[CONTROL DEVICE PASSWORD CHANGE]

The control device password can be changed.

1) Press

to select [CONTROL DEVICE PASSWORD CHANGE].

2) Press the <ENTER> button.

The

[CONTROL DEVICE PASSWORD CHANGE]

screen is displayed.

3) Press

asqw

to select the text, and press the <ENTER> button to enter the text.

4) Press

asqw

to select [OK], and press the <ENTER> button.

To cancel, select [CANCEL].

Attention

The initial password is “AAAA” by the factory default setting, or after initialized by one of the following methods.

When initialized by selecting the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu

[INITIALIZE]

→

[FACTORY RESET]

When initialized by setting the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu

→

[INITIALIZE]

→

[USER SETTINGS]

→

[OTHER USER SETTING] to

[INITIALIZE]

Change the password periodically that is hard to guess.

To initialize your password, consult your distributor.
