Maintenance of the hair dryer (P.20)
Sparks may be seen from the interior when using hot air.
These sparks are caused by the thermostat switch, the protective device, and this
is not dangerous.
Clean the air inlet and air outlet.
Always turn the main switch [OFF] and disconnect the plug from the household
outlet. (Except when performing maintenance on the air outlet)
<Cleaning of the air inlet>
Wipe dust and hair from the air inlet with a tissue or toothbrush.
If dust is attached to the inside, remove it with a vacuum cleaner. (At least once a
month)
<Cleaning of the air outlet>
Select [SET], [DRY] or [TURBO] with the main switch and select [COLD] with the
mode switching button.
Then, blow away dust and hair jammed in the mesh of the air outlet by scraping it
with a cotton swab.
<Cleaning of the nanoe™ outlet and the mineral ion outlet>
Prepare a commercially available new cotton swab, and gently insert the swab in
the nanoe™ outlet and the mineral ion outlet until it stops (about 10 mm), and then
turn the cotton swab 2-3 times carefully. (Do this about once a month)
<Cleaning of the main body>
To clean the hair dryer (when it is dirty), soak a cloth in the soapy water and
squeeze it out firmly, then wipe with the cloth.
