8. Remove seven (7) screws as shown.
9. Pull the power cord out of the canister 1-2 feet and lift off
the upper body.
10. Route the power cord plug through the opening in the
upper body.

IMPORTANT:
Make note of wire routing for later
reference.
12. Pull outward slightly on lower body of canister.
13. Lift cord reel up and out of lower body.
14. Disconnect cord reel lead wire from overload protector
and cut white lead wire lead wire just below crimp
connector.

Reinstallation
1. Strip white lead wire from motor which was cut during
removal of cord reel approximately 1/4”
2. Connect white lead wires from motor, wire harness, and
cord reel with a wire nut.
3. Connect wire (with terminal) from cord reel to overload
protector.
4. Reinstall triac PCB into cord reel bracket.
5. Insert cord reel into lower body until cord reel post snaps
into place in lower body.
6. Route all wiring according to wire management drawing
and tuck wire nut into cavity in the motor inclosure.
7. Route the power cord plug through the opening in the
upper body.
8. Reinstall upper body and seven (7)
screws.
9. Reinstall cover. Make sure it is snapped into place.
Secure with one (1) screw in rear of canister.
10. Reinstall handle, handle cover, and two (2)
screws.
11. Reinstall dust cup.
