Viewing motion pictures · pictures with audio / 

Creating still pictures from motion pictures

 Various playback modes for your pictures.
 Pictures will be selected from built-in memory (not clipboard) if no card is inserted.
 

Playback mode is automatically set to ‘NORMAL PLAY’ when power is turned on with REC/PLAY 
switch set to 

, or when switching from REC mode to playback mode.

 NORMAL PLAY

Displays one picture. (Default setting)

Set-up: Press ‘MENU/SET’ 

 Select ‘NORMAL PLAY’ (P.20)

 DUAL DISPLAY (DMC-TZ15 only)

Displays different 2 pictures vertically. Useful for comparing pictures.

Set-up: Press ‘MENU/SET’

 Delete selected picture.

   A still picture is created.

  The quality of still pictures created from motion pictures is fixed as 

 (standard), with resolutions 

set according to the table.

  Pictures taken on other devices may not be played back correctly.

  When using a high capacity card, it is possible that fast 

rewinding may be slower than usual.

  Playback zoom cannot be used during motion picture 

playback/pausing or audio playback.

  The file format is QuickTime Motion JPEG. Pictures can 

be viewed using ‘QuickTime’ on the CD-ROM (supplied).
