Dust check
Insert a DVD-RAM disc to be checked into the drive and click [Check Now] on the window in
step 4, page 76.
The following window is shown.
To set the check level.
Specify the number of tracks to be checked
per zone on the DVD-RAM disc. The higher
the setting the higher the accuracy.
Notes:
•
The result should only be used as a guide and should not be considered a guarantee of the
disc’s ability to read or write.
•
If level 2 or 3 is displayed even after cleaning the DVD-RAM disc and drive, there may be
scratching or persistent dust.
Use the disc for read only.
