  Auto Shutdown Protection

Auto shut down is a safety function for the Ceramic Hob. It shuts down automatically if 
forgotten to turn off after cooking. The default shutdown time for the various power levels are 
shown in the below table:

 Residual Heat Warning

When the Ceramic Hob has been operating for some time, there will be some residual heat. 

The letter 

 appears and blinks to warn the user to keep away from it. The letter 

 will 

disappear when the particular cooking zone has cooled down.

 WARNING

Beware of hot surfaces.
Ceramic Hob will show which cooking zone is hot to touch with the 

 

flashing on the display. It will disappear when the surface has cooled 
down to a safe temperature.

Do not cover the cooking zone with flammable material such as cloth, alcohol 
contained detergent, etc. when 

 is displayed.
