Noise Reduction
When Noise Reduction is enabled, environmental noise
is reduced to improve and maintain sound quality for the
other party in the conversation. Receiver volume is also
increased according to the level of environmental noise.
It is useful in noisy environments such as warehouses,
manufacturing plants, restaurants, and garages.
Noise Reduction can be enabled by default for regular
use, or toggled on/off during a call.
Enabling or disabling Noise Reduction

Note
•
Noise Reduction can be used only in Receiver
mode or with a headset. It cannot be used in
Hands-free mode. If Hands-free mode is
enabled during a call while Noise Reduction is
enabled, Noise Reduction will be temporarily
disabled.
Power Save Mode
Power Save Mode turns off the ringer, LCD backlight,
and/or key backlight automatically after a set number of
seconds have passed while receiving a call. For details
about adjusting power save mode settings, see
"Incoming Option (Page 41)".
