5.2  Phonebook Import and Export

This section explains how to import and export phonebook data. Phonebook data of the cordless handset
includes names and phone numbers.
(The description below uses the KX-TPA73 cordless handset as an example.)
Phonebook data on the cordless handset can be exported, edited with editor tools, and imported again. In
addition, phonebook data created with other software can be imported into the cordless handset.
You can use the phonebook import and export functions as follows.

Editing Phonebook Data on a PC

The phonebook data stored on the cordless handset can be edited using a program such as Microsoft
Excel

 spreadsheet software. For details about the operation, see

You can export the phonebook data to the PC, edit the exported file using appropriate software, and then
import it into the cordless handset.

Importing Address Book Data from a PC

You can import address book data stored in programs, such as Microsoft Outlook

collaboration client, into the cordless handset.
First, export address book data from the e-mail software to a program such as Microsoft Excel, edit it as
necessary, and then import the exported data into the cordless handset.
