Character entry
The dial keys are used to enter characters and numbers. Each dial key has multiple characters assigned
to it. The characters that can be entered depend on the character entry mode (page 39).

to erase the character or number highlighted by the cursor. Press and hold

If you do not press any dial key within 5 seconds after entering a character, the character is fixed and
the cursor moves to the right.
Character entry modes
The available character entry modes are Alphabet (ABC), Numeric (0-9), Greek (

), Extended 1

), and Cyrillic (

). When in these entry modes except Numeric, you can select
which character is entered by pressing a dial key repeatedly.
