Auto Talk
The Auto Talk feature allows you to answer calls by simply lifting the handset off the
base unit. You do not need to press
[
C
]
or
[
s
]
. The factory preset is OFF.
•
In order to view caller information after you lift the handset to answer a call, leave
the Auto Talk feature turned off.
Ringer Volume
You can set the handset and base unit ringer volumes to high, medium, low, or off.
The factory preset is HIGH. If the handset or base unit ringer is turned off, the
handset or base unit will ring at the low level for intercom calls, and will not ring for
outside calls. Caller names will not be announced even if the Talking Call Display
feature is turned on (p. 35).
