This setting determines the number of rings before the unit answers a call in the FAX ONLY
mode. You can choose from 2 to 4 rings.

Helpful hints:

●

To answer a call before the unit does, increase the number of rings.

●

If you have difficulty receiving faxes, the other parties may have tried to send faxes before
confirming if your unit answered or not. Decrease the number of rings.

■

If you have a telephone line just for receiving faxes, we recommend the following setup.

Example: One telephone line is used for voice calls and a separate telephone line for faxes. If

someone sends a fax to Line 2, the fax machine will ring.

Line 1 – Voice calls

Line 2 – Fax calls

Only a fax machine is connected.
