9. Troubleshooting and Routine Care

Answering Device (For KX-F1100AL only)

The glass or rollers are dirty. Clean them (see page 77).

The thermal head is dirty. Clean it (see page 77).

The film is not inserted correctly. Insert it correctly (see page 78).

No voice messages have been
recorded in the ANS/FAX mode.

I cannot retrieve recorded
messages from a remote phone.

Messages in the mailbox do not
play back.

A dirty pattern or black line
appears on the copied
documents.

Copied image is distorted.

The document is not copied
properly.

A paper jam occurs during
copying.

The memory is full. Erase some or all messages (see page 30).
