What equipment can be used?
Glass tray, low or high wire racks. Metal tins and ovenproof dish-
es can be used.
This combination can be used to quickly achieve a brown and
crisp surface.
Select the desired convection temperature and input the time.
Grill/Convection
The glass tray should be used in the oven when preparing food
with convection or grill with microwave, and in such cases either
use the high or low wire rack.
Always use ovenproof dishes containing no metal. Do not cover
with a lid, film, paper or plastic.
Microwaves used together with hot air or the grill provides a
quick and careful preparation and also means the food acquires
a crisp and brown surface.
When using this combination, the microwave setting must not be
too high, or the food will be thoroughly cooked through before it
is brown and crisp.
Foods which are not suitable for combination cooking
Sweet biscuits
Meringues
Soufflés
Danish pastry with a moist filling
Using the oven’s accessories
The oven’s wire racks – high and low – are used to adjust the
height in the oven space. As a rule of thumb, the high wire rack
is used when the cooking time is under 30 minutes. This wire
rack is also used for browning food quickly. The low wire rack is
used when the cooking time is more than 30 minutes.
