2.1.3 Communication Parameters
Selecting “File”
“Configuration”
“GT Configuration” of GTWIN displays the “GT configuration” dialog
box. Clicking the “Communication Parameters” tab displays the following screen.
This is where communication parameters for the external device connected to the GT are set.
“Communication Parameters” screen (GT01, GT11, GT21)
“Communication Parameters” screen (GT02, GT02L, GT05, GT12, GT32, GT32-E)
Unit numbers
Specify “unit numbers” when more than one GTs are connected using C-NET.
COM Port (Connected to PLC/External device)
This is used to specify the baud rate and transmission format when the GT is connected to an external
device.
Clicking on the
button displays a pull-down menu from which the value to be set can be selected.
Baud rate:
Data length:
Stop bit:
Parity:
Select 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 or 115200.
Select either “7 bits” or “8 bits”.
This is fixed at “1 bit”.
Select “None”, “Odd” or “Even”.
