8. Changing the Indoor Unit Addresses (If Necessary)
This is done using the remote controller.
Changing the addresses
(1) Follow the step (1) and (2) in Section 17 in order to select an outdoor unit refrigerant system and press the
SET
button
to confirm it.
(2) Select the indoor unit.
Use the
UNIT
button to select the indoor unit for the address change.
(3) Select the desired address.
Press the timer time
and
buttons to select the desired address.
(4) Press the
SET
button to confirm the address change.
(5) Repeat steps (2) through (4) to change addresses within the same refrigerant system.
(6) To make changes to the indoor unit addresses in the next refrigerant system:
Press the button to return to address-change mode.
Use the
UNIT
button and
FLAP
button to select the next refrigerant system, then repeat steps (2) through (4).
(7) When address changes are completed, press the button twice.
The remote controller returns to normal mode.
Note: Returning from the status in (3) to the status in (2) (cancel function)
From the status in (3), press the
CANCEL
button without pressing the
SET
button.
The change cannot be canceled after the SET button has been pressed.
Next, press the button to return from address-change mode to normal mode.

9. Precautions
Request that the customer be present for the test run.
Explain the contents of the instruction manual, then have the customer actually operate the system.
Be sure to give the instruction manual and warranty certificate to the customer.
