Status Monitor
When you access Hyper Document System home page, Java applet is downloaded
automatically and status monitor is started.
Status monitor inform the printer condition to PC.
(Note): When Internet explorer or Netscape communicator (version 4.0 or later) is being
used, security setting is required.
(Example): Security level setting in the Internet explorer 4.0
Following items are just the example and setting should be performed under the
responsibility by the user.
Select ‘Display in the tool bar and select ‘Internet option from the pull down menu.
Select ‘Security’ tab from the ‘Internet option’ dialog.
Select the Internet zone from the list ox of the zone on the security tab.
Set the radio button of the zone security level to ‘Custom’, and press the ‘Setting’ button.
When the security setting dialog is displayed, select the radio button in the ‘Custom’ from
Java acceptance of Java items, using scroll bar.
Press ‘Java custom setting’ button under the dialog.
‘Display of rights/Edit of rights’ dialog is displayed.
Select ‘Edit Permissions’, select ‘Signed Content’ and select ‘Enable’ of the ‘Run Signed
Content’. And also select ‘Unsigned Content’ and select ‘Enable’ of ‘Run Unsigned Content’.
