1) Drill mounting holes in reference to “Mounting hole dimensions” (
page 10).

When mounting to the wall, set the pole of the projector at the upper end.
z
There are two installation methods for choice.
A: This method uses 4 wood screws (3.1 mm (1/8")) to fix the attachment plate.
B: This method uses 4 wood screws (4.1 mm (5/32")) to fix the attachment plate.
Depending on the reinforcement type, use method A (4 holes) or B (4 holes) accordingly.

Add marks to the wood screw installation positions (4 holes) on the wall.
2) Mounting the attachment plate to the wall.
z
According to the selected method as described above, use commercially available wood screws with a
nominal diameter of 4.1 mm (5/32") or 3.1 mm (1/8") to secure the attachment plate.

If the wall for mounting product is not strong enough, the product may fall and subject to damages, etc. Do
give consideration to the safety factor and provide sufficient reinforcement.

For the wall with reinforcement, ensure there is thread engagement of at least 20 mm (25/32") in the wall
reinforcement member.
3) Install the falling prevention wire to the wall.
z
The falling prevention wire is secured to the attachment plate with tape.
z
Rip off the tape and use a commercially available wood screw with a nominal diameter of 4.1 mm (5/32")
to secure the free end of the falling prevention wire to the wall through the larger circular hole on the
attachment plate.

When installing the attachment plate to the wall with wood screws, make sure the falling prevention wire is
installed to the wall.
