Connect the telephone to the GSM Test Set and apply a carrier frequency of 68 kHz (for channel 70 = 949.00 MHz) at an
input level of -90 dBm.
3.
At the channel box, highlight CHANGE CH, and, using the left / right cursor keys, select CH <70>. Press ENTER.
4.
Highlight the SET AGC1 field and change the set value to 48 dB. Press ENTER.
5.
Highlight the RSSI dBm <> field and press ENTER
6.
If the measured power is not -90 ±1, then make the following calculation:
Record the result.
7.
At the channel box, press F7 to view data and highlight TRIM OTHER.
RSSI offset value

[-(90 + MEASURED RSSI VALUE)] x 2

[ -90 - MEASURED RSSI VALUE] x 2,
for example
[-(90 + (95))] x 2
