authentication is required, and then

z The Sender Selection function is not
available if the User Authentication is set for
the Fax function.

Select “ On ” to use authentication or
“ Off ” to disable authentication, and
then select “ OK ”.
When User Authentication is enabled for the
first time, you also need to specify the time
zone, system administrator’s name, and
system administrator’s password.

Enter the system administrator name,
and then select “
OK ”.

Copy Select “ Copy ”.
Fax Select “ Fax ”.

Scan Select “ Scan ”.
Off Disables authentication.
On Enables authentication.
