Updating the Adaptor’s Firmware
Make sure you download the latest version of the
adaptor’s firmware from the Panasonic support site
(http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/products/en/plc/)
and
save it to the computer before changing the computer’s
IP address and accessing the maintenance screen.
1.
Access the maintenance screen of the
corresponding adaptor (see page 5).
2.
Click [Update Firmware].
3.
Click [Browse], then select the firmware file, then
click [Open].
4.
Click [Start].
5.
Click [OK] when prompted.
• The firmware will be updated, and then the adaptor
will automatically restart.
• Do not disconnect the adaptor from the wall outlet,
or disconnect the LAN cable until the update is
completed.
Note
• After you have completed adaptor maintenance,
restore the computer’s IP address and network
settings to their original values.
• After you have updated the firmware, confirm the
adaptor’s firmware version on the [Status] screen.
• Registration information is not erased when updating
the firmware.
Confirming the Adaptor’s Status
You can confirm the following information on the [Status]
screen.
1.
Access the maintenance screen of the
corresponding adaptor (see page 5).
2.
Click [Status].

• After you have completed adaptor maintenance,
restore the computer’s IP address and network
settings to their original values.

Boot Version
Displays the adaptor’s boot
version.
Firmware Version Displays the adaptor’s firmware
version.
Operation Mode
Indicates whether the adaptor is
functioning as a master or a
terminal.
MAC Address of
the PLC Adaptor
Displays the MAC address of the
connected adaptor.
Another PLC
Master Adaptor
Indicates whether other master
adaptors exist on the network.
Performance will be affected if
other master adaptors exist on the
network.
PLC Link Status
(Only displayed
when accessing a
terminal adaptor)
Indicates whether the adaptor is
currently connected to an
HD-PLC
network.
MAC Address of
Master (Only
displayed when
accessing a
terminal adaptor)
Displays the MAC address of the
master adaptor that the terminal
adaptor is registered to.
