HD detail control switch [HD DTL]
This switch is selected when the extent of the detail
enhancement (hard/soft) of the HDTV image output is
to be changed.
When the HDTV detail OFF switch is lighted, the
effects will not be reflected in the images and the
numerical values will remain unchanged as well.
Since the SDTV video output is created from the
HDTV video output, the adjustments made by the HD
detail controls are also reflected in the SDTV video
output.

V DTL: Vertical detail level
This is used to adjust the amount of vertical
detail.
Adjustment range: 0 to 63
H DTL: Horizontal detail level
This is used to adjust the amount of horizontal
detail.
Adjustment range: 0 to 63
CRISP: Crisp
This is used to set the maximum amplitude of the
very faint noise components which are removed
from the detail components.
Adjustment range: 0 to 63
PEAK FREQ: Peak frequency
This is used to select the contour correction
frequency band (boost frequency or peak
frequency). The thickness of the detail is
changed.
