The ClipCopy toolbar consists of the News Automation Mode for selecting the News
Automation usage format as well as the [Copy] and [Paste] buttons for copying and pasting
files and clips as shown in Fig.10-1.

10.1 News Automation Mode

This is for selecting the News Automation usage format.  The News Automation mode is
operational only when the News Automation mode is used (that is to say, when the Enable
NewsAutomation option has been checked).  The Normal mode is the default setting as
shown in Fig.10-2.

[Normal mode]

In this mode, the names of the clips are captured from the run-down list (See Note 17
below.), and News Automation system operates normally to register the clips under
these names in the automation server.

[Register Only mode]

In this mode, the run-down list is not referenced, and the News Automation system
operates solely to register the clips under their current names in the automation serv-
er.

10. CLIPCOPY TOOLBAR

Note17:This is the list of the video data which is scheduled to go on the air and which is controlled by the automation

server.  The News Automation system uses the names of the video data on the run-down list in order to 
exercise centralized control over the video data.
